Deux Façons

"Deux Façons can be interpreted as two sides, two ways and two perspectives.

I'm a Nigerian born but London living creative, having spent most of my childhood in Nigeria then being brought to London, I've seen two very different sides of the world that make up the way i think and act and has had a significant impact on my schema - DEUX FAÇONS.

Back in secondary school me and my friend used to say there are two ways we would make it out. I'm not going to say the way, I'm going to let you guess or think whatever - DEUX FAÇONS.

One of my favourite quotes comes from philosopher George Santayana who said a lion must feel more secure that God is on his side than a gazelle. A gazelle's a prey, it has to worry about being eaten and finding what to eat. I know a couple people, myself included, who feel like we've been gazelles. We're just trying to be lions - DEUX FAÇONS."
